The Calandiva, a popular variety of the Kalanchoe succulent family, is loved for its vibrant, long-lasting blooms and low-maintenance care. This charming succulent thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers well-draining soil, with watering only when the soil has completely dried out.
Its eye-catching flowers typically bloom for around six weeks. After the blooms fade, simply remove the spent flowers, trim the stems, and place the plant in a dark room (such as a closet) for about 14 hours a day. After roughly six weeks, small buds will begin to form, and you can return the plant to a bright location for another round of blooms. This cycle can be repeated year-round with proper care.
